There is a growing need for the shipping companies to understand the importance of cyber security management and processes to protect their assets from cyber breaches. It is now mandatory to incorporate the cyber risk management plans of your organization in the ISM Code by January 01 2021.

Capt.Suresh has a marine experience of 16 years at sea and 17 years at shore based industries.After his graduation in science he joined Shipping Corporation of India ,Mumbai as Trainee Nautical officer and sailed in various ascending capacities till Captain of the vessel.He served in Tolani shipping pvt Ltd ,Mumbai and has commanded various types of ships as Master of the vessel .He had served as Marine surveyor with Indian Register of Shipping and also as Vice president and DPA in reputed ship management companies.He had completed MBA( Logistics and Shipping managment) and MICS(UK).He is also a qualified auditor for ISM,ISPS,ISO-QMS,EMS and OHSAS managment systems. He was principal in Maritime training colleges and a trainer for past 9 years and was a training consultant for MAERSK ,carrying out training activities for staff at Manila,Phillipines. Presently he is head for Quality systems in a ship managment company training/ implementing ISM and Cyber security managment systems.
