The U.S. Coast Guard’s inspection regime for towing vessels at 46 CFR Subchapter M introduces a towing vessel inspection regime including a central role for safety management systems and oversight by Coast Guard-approved third parties. This course introduces you to 46 CFR Subchapter M, Towing safety Management System, discusses implementation of a towing safety management system and prepares to you manage the internal audit program of the TSMS of a tow boat operator.

This course also provide the foundation for becoming a third party auditor under the TSMS of a TPI, by taking additional modules provided by FloatSys Academy through eLearning.
